How to Unclog a Hotend

This guide will show you how to unclog a hotend using the oven method!

Supplies

You will need:

A. cloged hotend

B. Oven

C. Wire

Step 1: Step 1

Remove hotend, take off pneumatic coupler, silicone sock, heating element, and thermistor.

Step 2: Step 2

Get a bare wire, wire coathanger, or paperclip and stick it through the heating element hole

Step 3: Step 3

Wrap the wire around the oven rack with the hotend upside down and place a baking pan underneath.

Step 4: Step 4

Heat oven on broil to 500 Degrees Fahrenheit (250 C)

Step 5: Step 5

Wait for 3 hours... and there you go! an unclogged hotend
