Introduction: How to Upgrade Your Pc ( RAM +SSD) Speed and Performance

Hey guys welcome yet in another tutorial today we are jumping in to slightly different field what can I call it really but in todays tutorial I I’ll be showing you or taking you through steps on how to upgrade your old /new but low spec PC laptops performance /speed.

So yeah to upgrade laptop or desktop computer speed and performance we looks in 3 major parts

1.Graphics

2.speed

3. Memory

But us here we will tuckle the last two that is SPEED and MEMORY 

MEMORY

In memory we will boost the RAM Random Access Memory so we will add two sticks of 8GB each this will be more than enough for our low spec PC laptops (hp probook 430 G1 laptop) total memory will add up to 16GB of RAM with 500GB of Hdd (hard drive disks)

SPEED

Although speed comes in as result of hardware improvement and not a feature by its own we can boost our pc laptops write and read speed by replacing HDD disk with as SSD CARD ( SOLID STATE DRIVE) becouse it is far more better than hard drive disk which are very slow

Supplies

1. Screw driver

2. SSD card m. 2 slot

3. Two RAM MEMORY 8GB each

Step 1:

*Disconnect the pc /laptop from any connections via output ports of your pc

*Remove the battery from the pc before opening the screws (if removable)

*Turn off the pc /laptop if battery is not removable but I recommend to disconnect it’s power via the the battery terminal to motherboard to avoid short circuit in any case.


Step 2:

Step two is to open the lid case enclosure to access the RAM SLOTS and SSD Slots as shown in the pictures

TO install the RAM memory just plug them in via the slots at be keen here for the slots have cut which fits exactly to avoid putting it backwards which can result to short circuit and it can be fatal if it occous on PC motherboard

So take care of your laptop


Step 3:

IN step 3 we will install the SSD m. 2 card in to the slot labeled m. 2 for this is where the ssd card fits

NOTE: CHECK IF YOUR LAPTOP /PC HAS THIS SLOT BEFORE PURCHASING THIS TYPE OF SSD CARD

Also as you install this solid-state disk make sure not to put it back ward to avoid short circuit

After you have installed both the SSD and the RAM then close the lid and return the battery and power your pc /laptop on. After the boot process is done correctly then the ssd card should show as an unallocated drive as shown in the picture

NOTE :error message which you may encounter

1. THE pc might fail to boot/ start with fans running loudly

2. THE caplock and numlock key blinking 3 times

SOLUTION :

1. Keep on restarting severally for it might pick the correct drive to boot, becouse thi error Only comes due to BIOS for booting

2. WAIT for your machine to cool down

3. Remove the battery (if removable) then press and hold the power on button for 10 sec
