Step 1: Understanding Where the Keys Are on the Keyboard

First you need to know where everything on the keyboard is.

Step 2: How to Screenshot on the MacBook Air

In order to screenshot you need to...

1)Press Shift-Command-4. The pointer changes to a crosshair.

2)Move the crosshair to where you want to start the screenshot, then drag to select an area.

3)While dragging, you can hold Shift, Option, or Space bar to change the way the selection moves. When you've selected the area you want, release your mouse. To cancel, press the Esc key before you release the mouse.Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.

Step 3: How to Cut, Copy, and Paste on the MacBook Air

1)To Cut you have to hold down Command , press X, then release both keys.

2)To Copy you have to hold down Command, press C, then release both keys.

3)To paste you have to hold down Command, press V, then release both keys.

Step 4: How to Save and Print a Document on the Macbook Air

1)To Save a document you have to hold down Command, and hold S, and release both keys.

2)To Print a document you have to hold down Command, and hold P, and release both keys.

1) To Quit an app you have to hold down Command, and hold Q, and then release both keys.

2) To Close the front Window you have to hold down Command, and hold C, and then release both keys.

1) Press the power button to turn on your Mac or wake your Mac from sleep.

2) Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds while your Mac is awake to display a dialog asking if you want to sleep, restart, or shut down.

3) Press and hold for 5 seconds to force your Mac to turn off.
