Introduction: How to Use the /fill Command in Minecraft

Ever need more man power to build your huge base or minigame? Here I can teach you how to do so without downloading anything extra on to your computer.

Step 1: Pressing the Right Button

All you want to do to start off is press "F3" on your keyboard. If some weird action happens and the numbers you see on my screen do not appear, try holding "fn" and then pressing "F3"

Step 2: Beginning the Command

All you want to do now is type /fill and get ready for the next step.

Step 3: Plotting Your Creation

In all of the nonsence you see on the left corner of screen, there is a section that says Block: and 3 numbers. These numbers are your coordinates. So, first you want to find one corner of where you want your structure to be. Then, continue your command by typing /fill (your coordinates).

Step 4: Plotting Your Creation (cont.)

Find the other corner of where you want your creation. Plug in those coordinates like so, /fill (first set of coordinates) (second set of coordinates)

Step 5: Choosing the Item

Now you need to decide what material you want this huge brick to be made out of. So, continue the command again like this: /fill (first set of coordinates) (second set of coordinates) (block type)

Step 6: Pressing "Enter"

All you need to do now is press the enter key on your keyboard and your structure will be created! However, keep in mind there is a limit of how many blocks can be created using one command to reduce lag. So, if a message pops up saying, "Too many blocks in the specified area ((random number) > 32768)" just create it in parts.
