Introduction: How to Find a Good Airsoft Gun.
A guide for first time airsoft buyers.
Step 1: Choosing Your Gun.
First you need to choose weather you want to be a sniper, assault, rifleman, gunner, or shotgunner.
as a new player i recomend an all around semi and full assault rifle.
Step 2: Select Your Price Range.
The gun that you buy depends on how much cash is available. If you only have 30 or less dollars then you can 1. get a cheap gun that breaks (maybe a decent pistol or ok shotgun) or 2. save up $60+ dollars.
-for a sniper i recomend a $100-$200 dollar gun with a sope and 350-450fps gun
-for an assault, or rifleman a $60-$130 dollar gun with 300-400fps
-and for a shotgunner i recomend a $35-$60 gun with 320-380 fps gun that holds 40 or more bbs or has extre shells.
Step 3: Dont Rush!!!
Never i mean never rush what gun you want to buy. You should browse the web, look in stores, compare prices and talk to other airsofters once you get a gun if you dont like it you are screwed!
Step 4: Sales, Shipping, and Deals.
When shopping for airsoft always look for sales on different websites or stores, also try to find a gun near you if you buy it online and it has $100 dollars of shipping its NOT worth it! Lastly look for online deals like free bbs, pistols or even 2 for ones with certain purchases. you never know what youll find.
Step 5: BBs!
If you buy your gun online dont buy your bbs online!!! you can get cheap bbs instantly at a store without shipping fees! Also different guns take different bbs so choose wisely.
-for sniper rifles i recomend a minimum of .20 gram bbs but optimally .25 or greater
-for low grade assault rifles i recomend .12 but for good guns i recomend .20 gram
- for rifles .20 or .25
for shotguns tht are cheap .12 but for good guns .12 or for better accuracy .20 gram
Lastly beware cheap marked bbs with seams will not perform and may jam your gun.
Also dont pick up bbs of the ground they will break your gun.
Step 6: Enjoy Your Airsofting!
Now youve hopefully chosen a good gun and quality bbs for your stle of play i hope my guide helped remember to have a clean organized spot for your airsoft gun and clean it regularly.
so go out play hard play safe(not!) and have fun... o ya and whoop your opponents @$$!

When a non-sniper claims to be over 400 FPS, that's usually an indicator that it's junk. I'd recommend this:

While the Walmart/Sporting Goods Store BB's are way cheaper and can come with a ton of BB's, the quality of those BB's are not the best and may jam you $150+ AEG. Yes, you don't need to buy $30 Matrix Seamless BB's for a lower end spring pistol or shotgun, but if you plan on getting the maximum performance out of you sniper or AEG, try and buy the higher quality BB's off of websites such as Airsoft GI and Evike.
