Introduction: How to Look Nice Using Inexpensive Makeup
Hi all! I have never invested in good makeup.. simply because it's way too darn inexpensive. I'm going to share how I do my makeup everyday using drug store makeup. Enjoy!
Step 1: Foundation
First, you'll need to apply foundation. I use Rimmel Clean Finish first with a sponge-like blender. Blot on, don't smear.
Now, use a big brush to apply powder foundation. I use NYC Matte Smooth foundation.
Step 2: Cheekbones
I like to apply a little white eye shadow onto the apples of my cheekbones. It makes them stand out a little bit. I use the pearl color of Jordana's Dynamic Duo and apply it with my finger.
Step 3: Eyes
Don't put that eye shadow down because I use Jordana's Dynamic Duo again for my eyes. First, I grab an eye shadow brush and apply the pearl color and apply it all over my eyelid. Then, I grab my liquid eyeliner pencil (I use Revlon Colorstay) and apply eyeliner pretty thick. Next, I apply the gold eye shadow to my eyelid.
The reason why I put the white first, is so the gold color will pop more.
Now I curl my eyelashes with an E.L.F eyelash curler. I got mine from Target for $1. I also got all of my E.L.F brushes in a little packet from Target for $2-$3.
Apply mascara. I use Maybelline Colossal Volume.
Step 4: Lips
Finally, I like to apply a little dark lip gloss. I don't know a lot about makeup, but I do know that not all lip shades look great on everyone. See what works best for you.
Now you're done! Now go out on the town and strut your stuff.

You look beautiful! Your eyes really pop when you wear eyeliner. I understand about not wanting to spend too much on makeup. I used to buy $30 mascara - was wonderful. Stopped spending like that and ended up finding Physicians formula mascara (organic one - just from CVS) and it's cheap and it makes the eyelashes look like they're a 1/4 inch longer! Awesome! Anyway, I also wanted to comment on the makeup artist tips for you - very cool. But, it's not that easy to draw in a fake eyebrow to make it longer more towards your eyes. I wish mine were a little thicker towards the eyes but they hair has been growing back all weird there (probably from overplucking over the years)..Any tips? :) BTW - congrats on being a finalist and you'll be winning something on here today! :) Fun!
