Intro: How to Make a Transprent Wallet for Less Than 50p

This instructible shows you how to get your money stolen for less than 50p!
n.b. This wallet is designed to fit notes up to the British £20 so you may need to adjust the sizes for American money.

Things that don't work very well:
Change falls out!
Change pocket is a bit small.
Card pocket is a too small.

This is my first instructible so please tell me how to improve.


STEP 1: You Will Need

Materials:
Plastic book cover- ~£0.20
Double sided sticky tape- ~£0.05

"Tools":
Scissors
Ruler
Pencil
Money(to test it out!)

STEP 2: Mark Out and Cut Out Pieces

These are the sizes that I cut:

175mmx100mm for the main piece, I would make this a bit bigger than I did to allow for a bigger card holder.

70mmx50mm for the coin pocket, I would make this a bit bigger and mabe include a flap to keep the change in.

57mmx97mm for the card holder, (My book cover had a flap at one end already folded over which was the perfect size for a credit card) I would definitely cut this wider though because my card actually pushed out some of the tape.

STEP 3: Stick It Together

Use the double sided sticky tape to tape it together as shown in pictures 2 and 3.

STEP 4: Your Done!

Now you can sit back and enjoy your new wallet! :-)

wazzup. i made one for 12 bucks. it is made of carbon fiber.

Yes, but that is just a plastic bag. it doesn't have any sections or anything

By the way, at the current exchange rate 50 pence is equal to $1.43

No the current current exchange rate is 50p = $1.0041. i.e about 1 dollar and half a cent.

I'd use clear tape for a start. However, to keep the change inside you could use more folding sections / flaps. (I don't keep change in my wallet)

That's what I thought about the flaps hence I suggested using flaps to keep the change in. And as for the clear tape, I had the book cover already from an old maths textbook and I didn't think of clear tape, Someone else did though! Personally I prefer my design because with the clear tape one there are visible joins but i guess with mine you have the double sided sticky tape showing through. So it's whichever you prefer the look of really.
