This instructable will teach you how to make delicious triple chocolate brownies. Make them on the holidays and give the entire family a taste of delight with this ultimate recipe.

STEP 1: Step 1: Collecting Materials

You will only need some materials. Other basic materials should be available in your kitchen. For 16 Brownies, you will need:

  • 1 pouch of Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix - Available at Costco or any other grocery store
  • 11" by 7" pan
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
To make 24 extra thick brownies, you will need a 13" by 9" pan and just double all of the ingredients.
To make 48 brownies, you will need a 16" by 12" (half sheet) pan and just triple all of the original ingredients.

STEP 2: Step 2: Preparing

Now, you will need to preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Then, prepare the baking pan by lightly greasing or spraying with non-stick cooking spray.

STEP 3: Step 3: Blending

After, you will blend water, oil and egg(s) in the mixing bowl.

Add brownie mix and stir until moistened (about 40 strokes).

Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

STEP 4: Step 4: Baking

Finally, you will bake the brownies.Add 5 minutes to the bake time if you are using a glass pan. Refer below:

Bake Time for...

16 Brownies: 45-50 minutes

24 Brownies: 50-55 minutes

48 Brownies: 45-50 minutes

STEP 5: Step 5: BE CREATIVE!

You can do many fun things with brownies. One idea is creating Stadium Bars.

First, prepare brownie batter as directed in the previous instructions.

Spoon into lightly greased pan (size depends on the quantity of brownie mix)

Sprinkle with 3 cups popped kettle corn, 1 cup salted peanuts and 1/2 cup Girardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.

Lightly press into batter.

Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes.

Cool thoroughly before cutting.

Now you have made 24 spectacular and delicious brownies!

I find that if you put the oil on after you mix the batter up right before you put tje batter in the pan it will let the batter be more nonstick because it wont slide downtje walls

I lost the recipe box for my DOUBLE chocolate brownies. Do you think that using this recipe for double chocolate brownies would still work? Or is there a double chocolate recipe?

So I kind of don't have vegetable oil... Can I use canola oil instead?
Canola oil is vegatable oil. And yes, you can use Canola, sunflower, vegatable, coconut oil, even butter.
I make one package of the brownie mix and use a standard 12 muffin tin. I find they bake quicker, everyone gets the chewie edge and soft centre.
How do you make the smaller batch of brownies more cake-like? Do I reduce the amount of vegetable oil and/or water and add another egg? It's not posted on the large box of brownie mix I purchased at Costco. Thanks!
Is this a fan forced oven?
Hi, I'm from Mexico and I need to know if in the nutritional bar they include the mixture already prepared??

Hi, if you look at the Nutrition Facts on the box, (there is a picture at the top of this post) you will see that it lists Calories at 150 and 190. The column starting with 150 is the mix and the column starting with 190 is the prepared mix (all the ingredients combined).

I'm using a mini muffin tray. My question in do I need to adjust the cooking time?

what is the cooking time for mini muffin brownies. I have a tray holds 48 mini muffin brownies

Terrific and easy....The box was thrown out and it was so great to find the recipe here.

Thanks.

Of you can make them from scratch to avoid artificial flavors in the mix...it's not hard and tastes a million times better.
Another suggestion is to substitute strong brewed coffee for the water (OR using 1tbs instant coffee) and adding about 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon. In addition, you can also add 1/8 teaspoon of chipotle ground pepper (don't overdo it!) to make Aztek Brownies. Awesome!
