Introduction: How to Make Lemonade | 2 Ways
When I was about 7 years old me and my friend were thinking of things to do to make some extra money and have fun while doing it. We were to young to babysit or to get a job, but then this popped into our minds: Selling Lemonade. So we'd go over to my house, grab a pitcher, and start squeezing lemons with our little hands as I didn't own an electric juicer back then. And let me tell you, that was hard work! After that mini-arm workout we would grab the sugar cubes and start dropping them in -plop plop plop-, and lastly we'd add in water and ice cubes to make sure it was cold because nobody likes warm lemonade! We got our stools and a little table, along with my grandma's glasses (without her knowing of course, we thought that we'd get more customers if we had expensive glasses for them to drink from!), and set them out in front of my house. Now that I look back, those are some pretty good memories. We didn't make much money, but we did it weekend after weekend because it was fun. Anyways, my friend ended up moving to Italy with her family in 2009 and I haven't seen her since. Selling lemonade had grown our friendship so much closer and without that memory I wouldn't have lots of funny and interesting stories to think about whenever I thought of her and the past. Sure we had lots of other great times together but this was my favourite one by far because I remember we had such a fun time doing it and we also made a little extra cash along the way.
Now why am I telling you this? Because that's the recipe that I used in this video. I don't know where you live, but here in Canada summer has started and it's super hot outside. I've decided to share with you 2 easy ways on how to make Lemonade to beat these toasty summer days! Have you ever purchased Lemonade from the grocery store and wished that you had an awesome recipe that tastes exactly the same!? Well search no more because this is the one! I've been making it for years. (hence the story I told you about me & my friend!)
The first drink I'm sharing is the traditional old fashion Lemonade & the second one is a Raspberry Lemonade. If you're looking for a nice and refreshing drink to make for a family picnic or for the kids, this is the one to use! It's fast, delicious, and takes no more than 15 minutes tops. Hope you enjoy! :)
