Introduction: How to Make a Lizard Leash
A lizard leash will prevent your reptile from getting you from you but in my opinion its not worth paying $9.00 for so i made one my self.
Step 1: Materials
Youre going to need 4 ft of some kind of thick string or thin rope, scissors, straw, ruler, id card or thin plastic but strong, and hot glue.
Step 2: Cut Your Straw
Youre going to want to cut two 3/4 in. long tubes from the straw.
Step 3: Makeing the Base
Hot glue the two tubes together side by side.
Step 4: Adding the Rope
Hot glue the rope to the middle.
Step 5: Feed It Throught the Tube
Feed the open end of the rope through one of the holes on the closed end.
Step 6: Through the Other End
Now feed the line through the open tube. this will make two loops that the front arms will go through.
Step 7: The Lock
Take the card and cut a inch long stip out. then shave the edges and punch three holes along the middle.
Step 8: The Weeve
Now weeve the open end of the line throught the lock. you will move the lock up and down the line to choose the tightness and distance between the arms, to loose he will get away.
Step 9: Your Finished
Good luck. it will take some getting used to but after a while you will be fine. this is good training to make your lizard tame and after a while no leash will be needed
