Introduction: How to Make a Plunger Staff
Me:"Don't you ever wish that you could have a really looong plunger!?"
You: "....No"
Me: "Don't you ever wish that you could have a TWO- SIDED plunger!?"
You: ".....Not really"
Me: "Well here's your chance! Make your own plunger staff for little or no money at all!!"
You: "......why are you in my house?"
Me: "I'll show you how! Just follow these easy steps and you'll be done in no time!"
Step 1: Supplies and Tools
Supplies:
(2) 1in wood screws
(2) plungers
(1) 4ft dowel (make sure it's the same diameter as the plunger handles
Optional:
Electrical tape
Tennis handle grip
Tools:
Cordless drill
3/32 drill bit
screwdriver
Step 2: Disassemble the Plungers
Just unscrew the handles from the heads.
Keep the rubber heads,
you don't need the handles, so use them for something else.
Step 3: Drill the Holes
Take the 3/32 drill bit and drill a hole into each end of the broomstick/dowel and the center of both plunger heads.
Step 4: Screw the Screws
Stick the heads onto both ends of the broomstick and screw each wood screw in.
Step 5: Optional
If you intend to use this as a bo staff or a contact staff, like me, this step adds grip.
Take the tennis grip and wrap it around the center of the staff and secure it with electrical tape.
