Introduction: How to Make a Diamond Bracelet
This instructable shows you how to make a diamond bracelet. It is called that because it looks like little diamonds interlocking together. This bracelet is for beginners. If you haven't made the single bracelet yet, I suggest you go and do that. I made an instructable on it so here's the link: How to make a single bracelet You do not need to make an extension for this bracelet.
Step 1: Placing the Bands
Place the first rubber band on the middle peg. Drag it diagonnaly and place it on the first peg on the first row. Place the second rubber band on the middle peg and drag it to the first peg on the last row. Place the third rubber band and put it over the first peg on the first row. Then, drag it diagonnaly to the second peg on the middle row. Place the fourth rubber band on the second peg on the middle row. Drag it diagonnaly to the first peg on the last row. You have made one diamond. Continue to do this until you reach the top of the loom. When you reach the top, grab a rubber band and place it on either of the two last pegs. Place it diagonally to the last peg in the middle row. The unused pegs you could use are the last peg on the first row or the last peg on the last row. I prefer to place my last rubber band on the last peg on the last row but it's up to you.
Step 2: Looping the Bands
Grab the first band under the last band you just placed. Loop it to the side it was placed before you dragged it. Do the same to the other one. Grab the band under the band you just looped. Loop it to the side it was placed. Do the same to the other band. Continue to do this until you reach the top of the loom.
Step 3: Pulling a Rubber Band Through
To complete the bracelet, you need to pull a new rubber band through both of the rubber bands you just looped. Push your hook through the two looped rubber bands and place a new rubber band on the hook. Push the hook back through making sure that the hook held the rubber band while you pushed it through. Slide a C-clip on the new rubber band. You can now take it off. Do it gently.
Step 4: You're Done!
After you pulled the bracelet off the loom, join the un-looped band and put it on the C-clip. You're done! Enjoy your bracelet! Check out my other instructables: Single braceletTriple-single braceletBracelet extension
