How to Make an Easy Ipad/ Book Stand

Needed a cheap and easy Ipad/ book stand.
so I came up with this design.

YOU WILL NEED-
-Two 8" x 8 1/2" pieces of scrap wood
- Two hinges 8 screws (should come with the hinges)
- string
- Two Screws to use as holding pegs
- hot glue gun
-drill
-wood sander
-screwdriver
-scissors
-safety glasses
-Wood saw

Step 1: Cutting the Wood With Coping Saw

Step 2: Sanding the Pieces

I used  rough grain sand paper and smooth grain sand paper.

Step 3: Screwing in the Hinges

I used the drill to make a small hole before screwing in the hinges.

Step 4: Holding Pegs

so now that you have the hinges on, you can screw in your holding pegs to the width of the book or your ipad.

Step 5: Gluing on the String So That the Stand Doesn't Open Up Too Far.

Step 6: And Now You're Finished

here is what your finished product should look like.
