Introduction: How to Make a Mini Paper Booklet for Notes, Comics, Etc.

In this instructable I will show you how to make a mini paper booklet for notes, comics, drawings, and anything else you can think of! This little book hold 6 pages. Since it is so small, it can fit right into a pocket.

The pictures in this instrucable are very crucial to making this correctly. if you don't follow the pictures as well as the directions, this can get really confusing.

Comments of what you have done with it are much appreciated, and if you like it vote for me for the back to school contest.

Thanks!!!

Step 1: Materials

          You will need:

1 sheet of notebook paper or printer paper

           Scissors

           tape

Step 2: First Folds

First, fold lengthways. Then unfold.(picture 1)

Second, fold the opposite way. Then unfold (picture 2)

Step 3: More Folds

Take the paper, and fold the sides in (cupboard fold) ((picture 1))

After that, mountain fold the paper in half so it looks like a W. (picture 2)

Step 4: A Cut

Hold the paper in the center (the middle part of the W shape.) ((picture 1))

Cut along the crease in the the middle (picture 2 and 3)

Step 5: The Tricky Part

Ok, this isn't really that tricky, but can be confusing.

Take the paper by the 2 sides of the cut (picture 1)

Bend them down until you get a + like shape. crease. (pictures 2, 3, and 4)

Step 6: The Last Folds

Take the paper and fold the sides into a book shape. Flatten and crease. (pictures 1, 2, and 3)

Step 7: Cutting and Taping.

If you want a thicker booklet, but with less pages, you can just skip this step.

cut all the areas that are shown in picture 1.  Don't let any paper fall out of there.

Tape all the areas that are shown in picture 2 and 3.

Step 8: Your Finished!!!

Now that you have hopefully completed this little book, now you have something to put notes in, draw in, or make a small comic in. There is so much more you can do with it, those are just a few examples.
