How to Make an Extendable M4 Carbine Stock Out of Cardboard

Introduction: How to Make an Extendable M4 Carbine Stock Out of Cardboard

About: Im an average 13 year old. i know alot about guns. check out my youtube page @:

You will need:
hot glue gun
boxcutter/utility knife

This is pretty simple, and it produces awesome resaults.

Step 1: The First Step: Buttplate

This is easy. draw a rectangle with a rounded top and bottom on thick cardboard. i made mine 6" long and about 1 1/4" wide( a little over 5cm long and a little under 3 1/2 cm wide). this provides a firm place to put against your body. i suggest doing this with double layered cardboard.

Step 2: 2nd Step:the Thing That Reinforces the Stock.

quite important.

cut out this-and make it thick!

Step 3: 3rd Step: the Extension Locks.

this isnt so important. you can make it with out these.

remember to make TWO!

Step 4: 4th Step: the Top Thing.

The top cylindrical thing. it is important.

Step 5: Step Five: the Glue

Glue everything together. make sure you dont screw up. my CoD class:

Primary weapon: Glue gun
secondary: tape

perk one: bandolier-extra sticks
perk two: strong hands-the ability to pump out ALOT of glue
perk three: stedy hand- steady hands.

Step 6: Step Six: Making It Extend

...with VIAGRA! jkjk

but all you need to do is make another tube of cardboard that will fin tinside the alrady glued first one. but make it about a centemeter longer.

Awww... it doesn't have a lock to hold it in place. Try the user changmobile on Youtube. He has an M4A1 carbine with tons of stuff like removable mag and extendable stock. He has I would say 20+ guns, all painted and detailed. Waaay better than my guns lol. Yours is still pretty good. You should work on mechanisms to lock it in place and stuffs.

i just developed a lock, ill see if i can udate the page. its just a pin(coar hanger wire) with holes drilled in the stock itself and through the PVC or whateve ri used. it works pretty well.
