How to Make the Letters Z and C With PVC

In this Instructable I will show you how to make the letters Z and C by using half inch PVC.

Step 1: First Letter Z: Materials

Materials:

1 13.50" x 0.5" diameter PVC Pipe
2 10.25" x 0.5" diameter PVC Pipe 
2 1.50" x 0.5" diameter PVC Pipe
2 45 Degree Elbow fittings (0.5")
2 90 Degree Elbow fittings (0.5")

Step 2: Assembly Z

First you are going to attach the 10.25" pipe to the 90 Degree Elbow fitting. This will give you the top of your Z.

Step 3: Assembly Z

Next attach the 1.50" pipe to the 90 Degree Elbow fitting used in the last step. This will be the middle piece that will allow us to connect  a 45 Degree Elbow without any pipe showing. Once the pipe is in, go ahead and attach the 45 Degree Elbow to the 1.50" pipe.

Step 4: Assembly Z

Attach the 13.50" pipe to the 45 Degree Elbow connected in the last step. This pipe will represent the middle of the Z. 

Step 5: Assembly Z

Connect the last 45 Degree Elbow Fitting into the 13.50" pipe. Next, put the 1.50" pipe into the other side of the 45 Degree Elbow fitting like step 3. After, attach the last 90 Degree Elbow Fitting.

Step 6: Assembly Z

Lastly, connect the 10.25" pipe into the 90 Degree Elbow Fitting. This serves as the bottom of the Z. This completes the letter Z! 

Step 7: Second Letter C: Materials

Materials:

2 10.25" x 0.5" PVC Pipe
3 7.00" x 0.5" PVC Pipe
4 45 Degree Elbow Fittings

Step 8: Assembly C

First, take one of the 10.25" pipes and attach it to a 45 Degree Elbow Fitting. 

Step 9: Assembly C

Next, connect one of the 7.00" pipes into the 45 Degree Elbow Fitting. This is start the curve of the C.

Step 10: Assembly C

Next, attach a 7.00" pipe to the 45 Degree Elbow. Once this is connected, add another 45 Degree Elbow to the 7.00" pipe. 

Step 11: Assembly C

Attach another 45 Degree Elbow Fitting into the 7.00" pipe. Once this fitting is in, proceed to attach the second 7.00" pipe into the 45 Degree Elbow Fitting. 

Step 12: Assembly C

Connect the third 45 Degree Elbow Fitting onto the 7.00" pipe like in previous steps, then proceed to add the final 7.00" pipe onto the 45 Degree Elbow Fitting. Once putting this pipe in, add the final 45 Degree Elbow fitting onto the 7.00" pipe.

Step 13: Assembly C

To finish, simply add the last 10.25" pipe to the 45 Degree Elbow Fitting and you are done!
