Introduction: How to Prolong Clothing Life and Track Its Use in a Small Closet

Sometimes you wear something and you don't sweat. You can wear it again without washing it. It's better for the environment, it saves you money, it'll also make your clothing last a bit longer. Here's an easy way to track articles of clothing, categorize them, and easily identify what needs washed/ thrown out.

Step 1: Things You'll Need.

Acquire all of the hangers and Mini binder clips that you'll need.

In this example I am using two colors of wire-hanger, (one for regular clothing, one for winter clothing) and some pants hangers.

Step 2: Attach Binder Clips

Attach the Binder clips to the hangers like so.

Step 3: Now for Tracking.

Each time you use an article of clothing flip up one side of the clip and put the article back on the rack.
Clean both sides down
1st use left side up
2nd use right side up
3rd use both sides up
For extra uses flip the binder clip.

With this system you should be able to fit a Huge amount of clothing in a very small closet, (Red hangers are favorite shirts, black hangers are seasonal shirts)
