Intro: How to Reverse a DC Motor Using Buttons.

In this short video I show you how to reverse a DC motor using buttons instead of a DPDT switch or any remote. Recently I wanted to make a DC motor spin in one direction and in the other direction for a project. I wanted to use buttons so the DPDT switch was out of the question, and I didn't want to program anything because the task I wanted to achieve didn't really require it. So I decided to keep it very very simple and use buttons. It takes 4 push buttons (two sets of two) and a motor and a battery. It's simplicity at its finest! I hope you can benefit from this enjoy :)

Place both the same number switches together, and place wood over both of them. Now when you press the wood, it presses both switches for you. Looks cleaner on a diy
I like your idea but I needs something more simple, I have this cheap electric 6v screwdriver and the forward and reverse assembly was crap!!!! So I ripped it of and even cut a few thing cause I thought the idea in my head would work.... But no it did not so I think I may just add some switch from a toy with three prongs and a push button. PS, it was supposed to have two so call "buttons"

i want to make a similar circuit that only uses two buttons because i want constant back and forth motion...can someone share that circuit with me

If you're wanting to stick with solid state components, a relay would eliminate 2 of the buttons.
