I've used this trick to sharpen my knives in a pinch many times, but it works well on a razor as well. And who doesn't love coffee?

I only recognized that's what they probably meant right as I was about to publish it, but it technically didn't say "shaving razors" so I figured I would submit it anyway. I'm glad I did! I suppose you could try this with your shaving razor? Ha ha!

I suppose you could also use a utility knife to shave.

actually rubbing on any stone surface will work!

Yes, most smooth rock surfaces should work, but most of the time a coffee cup is fairly easy to find :)
