Introduction: How to Make Paper From Used Paper
I got this recipe from my 5th grade teacher. I didn't have the screen so I used wax paper and it didn't turn out so well. So don't use wax paper!! My pictures arn't good because I took them after I was finished. Enjoy! If you like it remember to vote in the Epilog challenge.
Step 1: Gathering the Materials
You will need, an old t-shirt, a piece of cardboard, a blender, water, paper(duh), a paper shredder(optional) and a screen.
Step 2: Shred and Blend
You can rip the paper(s) up and put them in the blender or shred them if u want to go faster. The pieces need to be small. Then place them in a blender about half way and put in just enough water to cover them. Blend it untill you cant see any paper flakes
Step 3: Pour It
Pour it in the screen and shake it until it is smooth. The amount of paper determines the thickness.
Step 4: Flip It
now take the t-shirt and place it over the wet paper. Flip it over and remove the screen. The black specks in the paper are letters.
Step 5: Squeeze It
now take the piece of carboard and place it over the T-shirt. Then add weight to it. After this let it dry.
Step 6: Done
I used waxpaper so my paper sucked up the water instead of flowing through the screen so it ripped.
