In this age of emoji. I came up with this idea to make an amigurumi heart. A simple X means hug + an O which means a kiss = to love (heart). So feel free to follow along and make one for yourself.

Supplies

- 2 color yarn (depends on preferred color)

- 2 mm crochet hook

- stitch marker

- scissor

- yarn needle

Step 1: Make 2 Curve Circle

First, make a magic circle loop. Then, single crochet (sc) into the circle up to 6. After that, pull the 2 each string of a circle to make the stitch form a tight circle. When the string is tightened make a 2 single crochet (sc) in every 6 loops of a circle going to have a 12 single crochet (sc) total. Next, make a 12 single crochet (sc) again in order to make a circle slightly curve. For 4th round, make a 1 single crochet (sc) in the first loop then 2 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd loop, repeat the stitch (1 sc in the 1st one) then (2 sc in the 2nd one) going to have a total of 18 single crochet. For the 5th round, make a 1 sc in the 1st and 2 loops and 2 single crochet in the 3rd loop and repeat the stitch pattern 1sc, 1sc, 2sc going to have a total of 24 single crochet. For the 6th round, just make 24 single crochet (sc) in every loop around the circle to make it curve again. Then cut the string and make another one and repeat the pattern. After made another one, join these 2 circles together. In joining these, make sure that the last circle thread that made was not cut. Start to single crochet up to 19sc. Since the last stitch is 24sc it will be going leave a 5 loop and skip those loop and to another one also then, start to single crochet it to join.

Step 2: Joining the 2 Circle Curve

After joining the two circle curve, start to stitch it using the tail end of the string. Stitch it to the two 5 remaining loops to fully join together. Then continue to single crochet (sc) again around circle up to 19.

Step 3: Began to Stitch Around With Invisible Decrease

For the 7th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 2 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease ( to invisible decrease please see the video )

3rd - 3 single crochet (sc)

4th - invisible decrease

5th - 3 single crochet (sc)

6th - invisible decrease

7th - 6 single crochet (sc)

8th - invisible decrease

9th - 3 single crochet (sc)

10th - invisible decrease

11th - 3 single crochet (sc)

12th - invisible decrease

13th - 4 single crochet (sc)

For the 8th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 5 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease

3rd - 5 single crochet (sc)

4th - invisible decrease

5th - 6 single crochet (sc)

6th - invisible decrease (sc)

7th - 5 single crochet (sc)

8th - invisible decrease

For the 9th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 7 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease

3rd - 9 single crochet (sc)

4th - invisible decrease

5th - 6 single crochet (sc)

Step 4: Continue to Single Crochet With Invisible Decrease Until It Form a Heart

For the 10th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 4 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease

3rd - 9 single crochet (sc)

4th - invisible decrease

5th - 6 single crochet (sc)

Then start to fill the heart crochet with fiberfill stuffing.

For the 11th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 3 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease

3rd - 7 single crochet (sc)

4th - invisible decrease

5th - 5 single crochet (sc)

Step 5: Time to Make the Face

Sew the X and O symbol as an eye for the heart using the other color yarn. ( depend on your color preferences )

For the 12th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 3 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease

3rd - 4 single crochet (sc)

4th - invisible decrease

5th - 2 single crochet (sc)

For the 13th round, we begin to single crochet around with invisible decrease.

1st - 3 single crochet (sc)

2nd - invisible decrease

3rd - 5 single crochet (sc)

Step 6: Finalizing the Heart

Begin to sew again, this time the + and = symbol as the nose and mouth of the heart. ( See the video )

Then fill it again with fiberfill stuffing just make sure to fill it the right amount of stuffing so that, it will make soft and avoid over filling cause it will make the heart hard. Spread the fiberfill evenly inside the heart crochet.

For the 14th round, we begin to 5 single crochet(sc) around, this time with no invisible decrease.

Fill it again with fiberfill to make the whole heart entirely filled. Then sew the remaining bottom part of the heart to close it. For the final part, cut the string above the heart evenly and divide the string into 2 and tie it together.

The end craft is an Amigurumi Heart as a key chain. Happy Making!
