Hydroponic AeroGarden Seed Starter Tray-homemade

I want to get the seed starter tray for my Aerogarden, but at the $ I couldn't do it this year.  So I have some foam insulation board at the right depth so I thought I would try making my own.

one of the features of the Aerogarden is that it pumps water to the plants. have you used that here at all?

When using the Aerogarden for seed starting the pump isn't used.

This would be very useful as a step-by-step Instructable! You've got lots of good pictures, but it could use a little more info about what you did and how to duplicate it!
