Step 2: Remove Hair
The troll is soft hollow plastic, and the hair is rolled-up fake fur that's glued to the inside edge of the head. You can probably just pull the hair out in one big chunk by hand, but if the glue is super strong you may need the pliers for grip.
Step 3: Bottom Weight
In the first pic you can see all the way down into the hollow legs. We don't want our trolls to end to top heavy, so fill this space with 4 or 5 full squirts of hot glue (I couldn't photograph the action because I only have 2 hands and no tripod, but pic 2 is the after).
Step 4: Glue for Hair
There's probably some remnants of fake fur clinging to the troll's head. It's ok if you can't remove it all. That glue was strong!
Put a ring of hot glue around the inside edge of the head. Let it slightly cool for a few seconds so you don't burn the plant.

Step 5: (H)air Plant
Gently press the plant into the glue until it's firmly held.
You now have a green little friend to give to your sweetie!
To keep the plant alive, spritz with water a couple of times a week. In the winter maybe once a week.
