Introduction: I Made the Flying Battery - Simplest Bi-rotor Plane
This is completely uncontrollable and so it can show any unpredictable behavior. Please be careful with fast motors and li-poly batteries.

Step 1: Get Some Stuff
- Two 7 mm coreless motors with propellers. Make sure that the propellers are twins. They have different direction of rotation.

- 3.7 volt li-poly battery
Step 2: Stick It Together and Takeoff Your Plane
Tape the two motors on the edges of the battery as shown.
Try to leave a small gap between the two motors and the battery because the motors get too hot when they operate.
Note carefully the motors connection. I connected the two motors so that they give lifting thrust. Remember that the two propellers have different rotation directions.
That was meant to give the two opposing rotating motors some sort of stabilization. The motors were connected together in order to rotate in opposite directions but give thrust in the same direction ( up ).
So I connected the blue wire of motor # 1 with the red wire of the motor # 2 and the red wire motor # 1 with the blue wire of motor # 2 .
Here is the final moment. I've tried to get the little battery to fly. When I connected the two motors I found the lifting thrust to the upwards ( as expected ).
When I tried to leave the battery I found that it is completely unbalanced and tilted and then headed right into the ground.

Wait !!! This isn't finished yet. I am going to make it better. I'll build a real stable controlled bi-rotor based on the same simple setup found here ... See you soon.
