Introduction: IA-14
After a long time, I finally have a new post!
IA-14
I.E. Assault rifle 2014
This build stemmed from a long desire to build a fully functioning bolt action rifle, mainly after seeing red's R5.
My main aims were to make it as compact as possible (as I have very little pieces) and to have decent power. This has resulted in two by products: a new compact trigger system and a new and easy to use rail system.
Pictures 6-10 show how the rail system works
Originally, this was meant to fire grey connector + green rod ammo, a favourite ammo of mine, but I found that ammo impossible to chamber, so I used blue rods instead, another one of my favourite ammos
Anyway, onto pros and cons:
+powerful
+has a long pin pull
+fires blue rods
+decent mag lock
+comfy
+decent rail system
-doesn't look great
-could look better with a longer fake barrel (I can't make it longer due to lack of pieces)
-low capacity mag (that's due to the size of the internal pusher I have, but it can be easily changed to have a smaller one)
Don't forget to favourite, comment and subscribe.
I'm open to any constructive criticism and suggestions
