Intro: IR Home Automation Using Relay

Infared Remote Home Automation System
(Warning: Replicate the project at your own risk! This project involves High Voltage).

STEP 1: Watch the Video!

First step: watch the video till the end to better understand my instructables. My Audio in the video is kinda worst but it will teach you just fine.

STEP 2: Order Your Components!

On this step this are the components that i used on this project.

- 1838B IR Receiver x1

- SRD-05VDC-SL-C Relay x4

- Arduino Uno x1

- LiquidCrystal I2C Display x1

- Solderless Breadboard x1

- Jumper Wires

- Remote x1 ( Any kind of Infared Remote)

STEP 3: Do the Wiring!

Connect everything according to this wiring diagram.

STEP 4: Programming Part 1

Okay in Step 4: First download my code for this project then upload the code without removing or changing in the code!

STEP 5: Programming Part 2 (Changing the HEX Code)

Okay on this step after successfully upload the code open your serial monitor then grab your remote. Then press the button 1, 2, 3, 4 and last is the power button, in serial monitor you will see some HEX code that you need to copy then paste in the original code according to the video. And after altering the hex code Reupload the code!

STEP 6: Warning!

on this instructables i just demonstrated how to make a home automation system code but not demonstrated how to wire the relays in 120-240 VAC power source. Because i don't want someone to get hurt or worst because of my instructables. Handle High Voltage with care if you want to replicate this project.

im very sorry for the late reply.in the relay you can see the NC NO means normally open and close. connect the Live or hot wire in NC in series and the connect the NO in your load. its like a switch that controlled by MU. the relay i used is only capable of delivering 10 amps so please be mind in your load and be mind that the voltage your're working is AC and one wrong move and you'll electrocuted so be careful. again im very sorry for late reply im not active here
Your spelling and grammar thru out this web site is horrible. If it is not improved on my next visit, in about a week, I will NEVER return. This is about as nice as I get.
yehay thank you for the feedback and being nice thank you for pointing out my mistakes. I will check everything later and edit it. thank you again sir for the feedback :)
You're Welcome! Im really happy that the first comment in my very first instructables is Positive thank you😊😊😊😊😊
