Introduction: Iced Coffee- Low Cal Version

About: I have been sewing and crafting for several years, my children are grown so now I have lots of time to be creative. I enjoy photography, cooking, cake decorating, painting and sharing my projects with others.

In the Summer time, Iced Coffee is so delicious, but it can be quite expensive. I've come up with a delicious iced coffee recipe that has only 40 calories and costs less than 50 cents per serving! This recipe can be made in just a few minutes once the coffee ice cubes are frozen.

Step 1: Supplies and Ingredients

To make this iced coffee, you will need:

Blender

ice cube tray

cold coffee

evaporated milk

Stevia (or Splenda) sweetener

Instead of evaporated milk, you could also use Soy or Almond milk.

Step 2: Make Coffee

Make a pot of coffee, allow to cool.

Step 3: Make Coffee Ice Cubes

Pour coffee into the ice cube tray, place in freezer until frozen. I try to make these with the leftover coffee whenever I make a pot. Once they are frozen, I place them in a freezer bag and they will keep for a long time.

Step 4: Blend Ingredients

Pour 6 ounces coffee, 2 ounces evaporated milk and 3 packages Stevia sweetener into the blender. Blend for 15-20 seconds. If you don't have a blender, just stir the ingredients together.

Step 5: Pour Into Glasses

Pour the blended coffee/milk mixture over the coffee ice cubes. Makes 2 servings. Enjoy!

Step 6: Option #2

If you would like the ice cubes blended in with the rest of the ingredients, this is also delicious!
