Introduction: Improved Etrex GPS Bike Cradle
I use my old yellow Etrex GPS when I go biking. It's useful to monitor your trip, speed and elapsed time. But all the systems and cradles I've tried to make for attaching it to the bike (based on plasti ties mainly) were unsatisfactory.

Step 1: Get Materials
You will need:
1) some wood for the base (I used white oak cause I liked the grain an the strenght)
2) four plastic cable mounts ("clips")
3) some screws
4) adesive foam (optional)
4)plastic ties

Step 2: Cut Clips
With a saw or a knife cut half of the clip. Be sure to let the hole for the screw
Step 3: Cut a Suitable Piece of Wood
Cut the wood which will be the main structure of the cradle. I choosed white oak, strong and nice
Step 4: Screw Clips
Screw the clips to the wood, being sure they are at the right distance to accept the Etrex GPS or other instruments
Step 5: Mount on Handlebar
Put some adesive foam strips to protect the GPS and mount on the bike with plastic ties. Some clips on the handlebar can facilitate task
Step 6: Enjoy GPS on Bike
Enjoy your etrex and go biking!
