Introduction: Incredible HULK Nintendo Wii W/ Extra Usb
Well I FINALLY finished my second Wii Mod!!! The Incredible HULK custom Wii. I took your guys advice and through this one on e-bay already! Hopefully It will make me some dough! This Instructable will be very similar to my Super Mario Wii except it has a couple of extra things!!
WARNING:
I am not responsible if you screw up your Wii, you Will void your warranty if you open the Wii case! Please read ahead but mod at your own risk!
Step 1: Things Needed
You will need:
A Wii
Tri wing / Phillips screwdriver
Bondo / silicone mold
Clay
Some Styrofoam
LED's
Hulk action figure
wire, solder, soldering iron, usb male & female
paint
And some Balls to take apart your Wii!
Step 2: Modding the Base
On this Wii I decided to make the Wii's base more of a stand. I again planed for awhile, thinking of what to do with the Hulk figure. My plan was to make the Wii into more of a diorama, depicting a scene in which the Hulk is doing whats natural to him being DESTRUCT FULL!! The bottom is thin wood cut into shape, in which I then cut some Styrofoam and used a knife to cut groves into it to make it look like a cracked street. I did the block wall the same way I did the Mario Wii's base, through some clay on it sculpted the blocks then took a mold and made a exact copy with Bondo. I then epoxied the sides onto the base. As you can see I cut one side to make it look like the wall is broken. While gluing the block parts on I decided to hide the extra usb port in the front. I then added the electronics to the base.
Step 3: The Wii Case
Here I will briefly explain how I modified the Wii's case, since it was mostly painting it shouldn't take long. I first traced the Wii on some paper then put a piece of plexyglass over the paper and designed the buildings out of clay. The same thing was done for the Logo and the Gamma Bomb explosion except I made the copy out of epoxy with green dye, instead of Bondo. The buildings were then glued on and the Wii was painted, after that I glued on the Logo and the Mushroom cloud.
Step 4: Details, Details, Details
O.K. so this was the real time consuming part. Painting the buildings took forever!! I painted them different colors because thats what I think of when I remember the old San Francisco Victorian homes. I decided to paint the sky to look like a sunset mostly because it flows over to the other side and goes well with the desert scene. You can notice my attempt at the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Painting the cinder block wall was actually not that hard. I started with a light gray, then dabbed some dark gray around the bottom of each row and in the cracks. I followed that with a little rust color and some green to look like moss or algae. The logo side seemed to plain to me so I decided to tag Marvel on it. I had made molds of small cinder blocks and broke them up for the pieces of the broken wall. Next the power line pole was made from a hobby dowel, just whittled and painted. The actual power lines were from speaker wire with the led's glued to the end and the wires running back to the base for power. Two holes were then drilled on the other side to fit the remaining led's.
Step 5: Finishing Up
Now the only thing I had left to do was finish the actual Hulk figure. I didn't want him to look like the bendable figure I bought so I filled all the joints in with epoxy then with Bondo and shaped it. I left the head movable because you can't see the joint very well and you can still move it to accommodate the way you face the Wii. Next was the paint, I repainted the figure and changed his paints back to the original purple color. Finally I screwed the Hulk onto the base through his feet and glued a piece of black felt to the bottom.
Step 6: The FINAL PRODUCT!!!
Well this is the done deal, Now up for sale on E-Bay I hope it does Well, especially because a portion of the winning bid will go to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). So what do you guys think? Heres a couple of night shots. Please let me know if it gets on other web sights, I enjoyed hearing all the sights my Mario Wii got on!! Well I'm off to plan the next mod!!!

I hope this makes a lot of money, because it’s clear you put a lot of attention into this project. Also, you might want to advertise a little bit more about the fact that there also getting the game by like adding a picture of it or something, but can you go back and edit it?

Damn! And I thought the mario one was impressive. Next mod, I want an lcd screen on the side of the Wii so that I can play space invaders or donkey kong while I wait 10 minutes for the wii's opera browser to load. Just wishful thinking.
