Introduction: Instructables Jack-o-Robot

Hello friends please Vote us In the Rubber Band Challenge...

Hello Dear Iblers,

A few days ago we were wondering what to do with rubber bands that were just lying in our home... After a few hours we thought of the idea of a small handy Jack-o-Robot...

This time we thought of making a Instructable for kids...

This is just a matchbox which is converted into a robot that has blinking Leds...

So, here is a easy matchbox Jack-o-Robot...

Step 1: Things You Need...

Here is a list of materials you need to get...

Product
A Common matchbox
A Printer
A sheet Of Photo Paper
Attached Pdf fileDownload

4 Rubber Bands(Big)

A pair of Scissors
Hobby Knife
Soldering IronLink
Glue
Tape
3-1.5v Button CellLink
2 SMD Leds (Red)Link
A Tactile switchLink

So now let's start making this robot...

Step 2: Preparing the MatchBox...

Now first start with the match box...

First take the match box and take out its cover...

Then take its inner compartment and paste the head of the instructables robot at one of its side as shown in the images...

Now at the place of its eyes make two holes as shown in images...

Now leave this matchbox aside...

Now take a big rubber band and stick a piece of photo paper measuring 2cm *2.5cm and glue it to the middle of the rubber band as shown in the images.....

Step 3: Circuit...

Now take the photo paper stuck to the rubber band..

Now take its front side and solder the two smd leds at the correct distance between the eyes of Instructables robot...

Then connect the button cell to the back of the photo paper with the leds...

Now connect the tactical switch on the top of the cell and solder everything as shown in images....

seal Everything in place with hot glue....

And then take the other head of instructables robot and paste it on the LEDs as shown in images....

Now take the inner compartment of the match box and tape both the sides of this rubber band on to the match box as shown in the images...

Try to keep the card in position of the eyes of the robot where we drilled holes as you do so.

Now your compartment is done....(Or you can call it the head of Instructables robot)

Step 4: Making the Body....

Now take the outer covering of the matchbox and two rubber bands...

Loop two rubber bands over the outer part of the matchbox as shown in images...

Now take the printout of the body of the instructables robot and stick it to the body of the outer covering of the match box as shown in images....

Now your Body is finished...

Now take the inner Head and place it at its place by sliding it into the body..

Now as you finish doing this ....Your Instructables Jack-o-Robot is complete...

Step 5: Tadaa!!

Now your Instructable jack-o-robot is completed so you can use it to just add some feathers to your showcase or hall or just impress your friends with your own cool Instructables Jack-o-Robot...

To use it just put your forefinger behind the head of the Instructables robot where the tactile switch is and switch it on ...

With a little more force you can make the Jack-o-Robot roll his eyes...

So now just start impressing your friends or anyone But
