Introduction: Jewel Plants Composition Realized With Empty Jewelry Boxes

How many of us have so many empty jewelry boxes at home and don't know what to do with them?
I want to show you how to easily create a composition of "jewel plants" .. I have used Pandora's jewelry boxes.

Supplies

For this project you will need:

-empty jewelry boxes (you can choose the size)
-silver paper
-soil
-succulents (or other types of plants)
-hot glue
-drill

Step 1: Make Holes on the Bottom of the Jewelry Box

Take the jewelry box and make holes (4-5) on the bottom using a drill (I used a 2,5 mm tip).
When you will water the plants the holes will allow excess water to escape.

Step 2: Place the Silver Paper Inside the Box

At this point, place the silver paper inside the box. This allows to isolate the soil from the inner tissue of the box.
Make holes in the silver paper matching them with holes previously made on the bottom of the jewelry box.

Step 3: Fill the Jewelry Box With Soil and Insert the Plant

Now fill the jewelry box with soil and then insert the plant into the soil.
You can create as many boxes (with plants) as you want. For my composition, I have used 6 boxes.

Step 4: Stick the Jewelry Boxes Together With Hot Glue

Using hot glue, stick the jewelry boxes together as shown in the pictures.

Your "jewel plants composition" is ready!!
Remember to water plants at least once a week.
