Intro: Juice Box Window Planter

What do you do with used joice boxes? My wife was supposed to throw them away. I thought that the linings are quite water resistent. So why not make planters out of them? I cut out one of the larger sides and put some earth and manure. Punched some holes in the bottom. Inserted some garlic pods, threw in some basil seeds. Added some water and it is ready to go. Put in the window sill with sunlight. Water daily and you have your own herb garden. Dont forget to water them daily.

Added feature. Wait till the garlic leaves are about 6 inches long. Grind the garlic leaves with green chillies and a pinch of salt in a mixer. You can also throw some of the basil leaves for a added taste. Use ot with tortillas (roti).

Yes ! It's a good idea for growing herbs. I grow basil, coriander plants in these. Recently I grew red chillies. Those plants grown a bit bigger for these cartons. I have to change them into some pot. :)
