About: Hello there! I'm Francesca and I love drawing... that's why I started to share my passion with all of you with speed paintings and tutorials. I hope to inspire your artistic creations with my Instructables! :)

In this Instructable I will show you how I painted Sora, from Kingdom Hearts III .

PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO TO SEE THE PAINTING PROCESS.

MATERIALS: watercolors, watercolor pencils, white pen, watercolor paper.

Step 1: Base Colors

I painted wet on wet the base color of the eyes.

While paint was drying, I start painting (again wet on wet) the skin.

For skin tones I used a mix of yellow, brown, and red colors.

Step 2: Details

Once paint dried, I paint new layers on the skin to add shadows.

I used purple, white and skin tones to increase the contrast.

I also highlighted details with watercolor pencils (both for skin and eyes).

Step 3: Hair

I used wet on wet ochra watercolor to paint base color of hair.

Once almost completely dried, I added brown and green to create contrast.

Step 4: Final Details

Once dried I painted dark strokes wet on dry.

I also add other details on skin, especially on the nose.

Step 5: Clothes and Background

I painted wet on wet clothes, keyblade and background.

I used several layers on clothes to obtain bold colors.

To draw attention to the character (Sora), I painted keyblade and background with light colors.

Step 6: End!

Once dried, I added details with watercolor pencils and white pen. I hope you enjoyed the painting!
