Recently I was out and about and had my Radio with me in my pocket and when I got back the Antenna broke, I just got ready to glue it with super glue and the spring of the antenna launched the tip to "never be seen again" So this is the KISS Principle Down & Dirty (Ha, who thought Dungeons & Dragons !) Antenna repair!

Supplies

There is not a lot needed for this one, just some kind of cap (best if goes all the way down but ok if not) Duct Tape (yeaaar) cutting tool.

Step 1: Prep Cap

I found the cap of a dried up pen I wanted to throw so I used this, I just used a tool to cut off the clip

Step 2: Cap It!

I simply placed the cap over the Antenna

Step 3: Wrap It!

Using my trusty Duct Tape I wrap the space between cap and base to make sure its a waterproof joint

and not rain will get in

Step 4: Test It!

After wraping you could if you wanted colour it black so it does not look strange or leave it.

Finally I wanted to see if it still works, left transmit, right recieve, so we are good to go..
