Introduction: KISS Principle Deo Roller

About: I have a military Background and a Background in Humanitarian Help and Urban Search and Rescue I was Trained in quiet a few things including Survival. I am a big fan of McGyver and Inspector Gadets. Does it sh…

I remember looking for Deo without Aluminium in it and at first hard to find now you can,

I decided to take it one step further and make my own. This is so easy.

Supplies

2 Tablespoons of Baking Soda (you might get make firm Hammer, in Germany known as Kaiser Natron)

5- 10 drops of Essential Oil (your choice of flavour, I used Tea Tree Oil)

4 - Tablespoons of Avocado oil

empty Deo Roller

Spoon, mixer, Bowl

Step 1:

Get yourself a small bowl and add your Baking Soda (Kaiser Natron auf deutsch) This is an excellent powder which can be used for many things, cooking, Fizzy drinks, deodorising Shoes, Dry Shampoo etc. etc. I always have a 5liter Bucket and I also make household cleaning stuff too, mix with coconut oil to make a sticky label remover and then...

Sorry this stuff is so useful I get carried away....

Step 2: Oil It

Add your oil to the Baking soda, here I use Avocado oil which is really good for the skin, I have used olive oil works just as well, you could look at other oils like Jojoba which are also good to skin.

Step 3: Adding Aroma

Here I used Tee tree oil which smells good and is also antimicrobial, you could use something else or add something else as well to give it a different smell such as lemon or Lavender.

Step 4: Bottle It

I got a store bought Deodorant Roller and when empty I used the back of knife to prise off the top, I used a chopstick for mixing. Fill you Deo Roller give it a good mix, Done!

You will find that after a while it kind of sepperates and you can give it a good shake and or top off and mix again.

It lasts a long time and is most effective, I bought another Roller to make a second one and discovered two things.

First buy a clear glass roller because the second one I bought was blue and difficult to see the level of deo inside.

And second I used the store Deo so not to be wasteful because I only wanted the Roller, and I found the store bought Deodorant was not nearly as effective as my DIY.... Have Fun :)
