Do you ever find its a bumer because your favorite glasses are not also sun glasses, or it is of course you can get them as sunglasses but cost x $ extra, or after spending 600 on a pair of glasses you dont have the extra cash to buy them.

Well, not a problem here anymore I will tell you a secret effective method, read on!

Supplies

What you need is:

A pair of glasses, hmm where, ah have them on my head!

A pair of scissors, scapel or hobby knife

A marker or pen

A roll of window foil

Step 1: Choose Your Foil

Here is the secret, you can buy window foil for house or car to use against the sun to darken windows

I bought about a meter roll on Amazon, cost about 6 euro, just make sure that what you get has UV protection so you dont microwave your eyes in the sun thinking everything is cool when there is no real protection, the roll I bought even has protection against blast, not that I want to test that one out! Also that it is self adhisive. The good thing is you can take a small piece around with in kit and be able to create sun glasses where ever you are with any glasses, or if you wanted you could even cut out roughly and use rubber bands to fix them to your face without glasses!

Step 2: Peel & Feel

cut two squares and peel the backing, now it should be easy to feel the lens on your glasses and using a marker or such mark out the lenses.

Step 3: Cut the Lens

Next cut the lens shape out, this sounds easy but after a few trys I finished cutting the lenses to the outside of the glasses and then trimming them.

Step 4: Done

If the plastic does not stick so good to the glasses you can wet the glasses lens a bit and then put on the plastic foil lens you can easily remove them and easliy put them back on. I tried and it seemed effective. As I said just make sure you get foil with UV Protection, don´t come crying to me if they didnt and you made this. Also if there any air bubbles you can just smooth them out.

Well I hope you enjoy this, see you nnext time
