Intro: K'NEX Colt 1911

Ever since I became a gun nut (a gun enthusiast) back in 2010, I have wanted to own a Colt 1911 .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol). As this is the case, I decided to build this venerable gun. Many of you have seen my (semi-badly-done) Colt 1911A1, and were not entirely happy with it, so this is just the 1911 version of that same gun. It is comfortable, has a longish pin-pull, and really nice sights.

  • Accurate sights
  • Nice trigger guard
  • Comfortable grip
  • Easy operation
  • Good range: 35 - 40 ft.

Possibly, I don't know very much about guns so I'll believe what you say :D

I won't say it looks bad, because it doesn't. But, IMO, this doesn't really deserve a separate slideshow. It just looks to much like the 1911a1, with just a slightly longer, straight, handle, and a trigger guard difference.
In my opinion, those two mods don't make it different enough for a separate post.

I can understand that, and I agree with you. That is why I am gonna delete the other one. For one reason, my first version was kinda premature. It was not ready, but I was gonna take it apart to build something else, so I decided to post it. However, I did not take it apart, and rebuilt it, so I decided to post the newer version. See?

It's okay honey, don't worry.
Maybe you can make use your 'failed stuff' ible for those situations. When you're not happy with a gun, but want to post it, you could update that one.
