Introduction: K'NEX Dragunov SVD (Build)
The Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova (which can be simply translated to Dragunov SVD) is one of my all-time favorite sniper rifles, next only to the M21 and the Mauser M86. It is simple, rugged, and reliable. This, the K'NEX version, is simple (after all, it utilizes a true-trigger), and reliable, and has many advantages over your basic K'NEX sniper rifle. It is accurate up to only about 40 ft., but can supposedly shoot farther (it shoots an ammunition that would be hard to find outdoors, but is easy enough to find indoors). It has a sturdy body, stock and fore grip area, but lacks the simplicity that makes good K'NEX sniper rifles better.
Features:
Now, lets move on to the first step!
Features:
- Good range: 40 - 60 ft.
- Magazine lock / release
- Scope that attaches from the side
- Looks really accurate
- Sturdy
- Easy to hold and operate
- Has a nice hefty feel to it
Now, lets move on to the first step!
Step 1: Main Body
So in this step you are going to be working on the main body. This would include:
- All of the internals
- The pistol grip
- The internal barrel
- The fake barrel
- And the mechanism.
Step 2: The Stock
This step is relatively simple, you'll be building the stock. I did not take the whole thing apart because it is relatively easy to build just with these pics. As I always say, if you need help, just ask.
Step 3: The Scope
This is probably the easiest step of all. The scope can be edited in any way to want. I made it for looks (I made it look as accurate as possible), but you can make it in any way you want.
Step 4: Finishing Up
In this, the very last step you will be adding the extras and the magazine, all of which, mind you, are entirely optional. The very last pic should show you what the end product should look like.
Enjoy!

Looking forward to build this gun but i have one question, the gun looks pretty flimsy and i like sturdy guns which are pretty heavy the most. Is it really flimsy? Cause after i builded it i want to be happy with the results :)

not a bad gun but i had to make the mag fixed in stead of free and took off the rails sence they were to flimsy

Can I have some pics? BTW, what do you mean by "rails?"

first pic is the top of the gun where the dark shell is i changed the top some and made a slot so if the shell goes to far forward i can push it back to the ram can hit it. the the piece pointing up is usually closed
second pic is the finished gun without the barrel attached or scope
