Introduction: K’NEX Lamborghini Gallardo

About: Just an average builder.

This is my first instructable, I’m not sure if K’NEX is still a thing. But either way, I’ve been building for awhile now and I’ve got something I thought was pretty cool that I’d like to share. I attempted to make the iconic Lamborghini Gallardo out of K’NEX.

Supplies

A bucket load of yellow connectors!

Step 1: The Front

The front of the car is comprised of yellow connector pieces. I used light blue to imitate the headlights. And a ball joint is used for the windshield. The hood is decked out in yellow connectors as well.

Step 2: The Side/Doors

I used a heavy amount of yellow connectors on the door and sides. The doors swing open and they do have side mirrors in the form of orange y clip connectors.

Step 3: The Roof

The roof was a tad bit more complex. In order to create that iconic Lamborghini roof design I had to use double ball joints in the front that correspond with the front of the vehicle. The roof is also composed of more yellow connector bits. If you squint you can see the V10 engine.

Step 4: The Back

The back of the vehicle is fairly simple. I used red three way connector pieces for the tail lights and gray spacers for the exhaust pipes.

Step 5: The Interior

The interior of the vehicle is primarily yellow connectors, but the seats are made from orange two way pieces. There is a little steering wheel on the left side. Towards the rear of the vehicle houses the legendary V10 engine.
