Introduction: KULFI

About: CRAFTSMAN
Kulfi, an Indian ice cream, is a sweet, rich treat on a hot summer day, the traditional method of preparation can over an hour if you're short on time and money, however, you can take a few steps with me, you can also make this delicious dessert in a home with less time and money.

Step 1: INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Here, I share ingredients to make 3 plain kulfi and plan accordingly to your family members.
1- Milk (300ml) Fat milk,
2- Sugar (4 tablespoons),
3- Cashew,
4- Almonds,
5- Pistachio (not necessary, if you have and add increases taste and also flavour ),
6- coconut mills.

Step 2: GRIND FLAVOURS

Add cashew, almonds, pistachio, coconut mill, sugar in a jar and made it with a medium grind.

Step 3: BOIL THE MILK

Instead of simmering and reducing milk for an extended period of time, this recipe eliminates that step by using milk that has already gone through the process, evaporated and condensed milk are quite sticky, so you'll need to stir vigorously to ensure they are completely mixed together.

Step 4: ADD THE GRINDED FLAVOURS WITH MILK

Add the grinded flavour with the boiled milk and mix together at low or medium heat of your stove.

Step 5: COOL THE MIXTURE

You can leave it to room temperature to allow the mixture to cool for 1-2 hours, this will prevent ice crystals forming in your kulfi, which can ruin the texture.

Step 6: POUR IN THE MOULDS

Pour the chilled mixture into your moulds.

Step 7: KULFI MOULDS

Cone shape is a traditional kulfi’s shape with a craft sticks to hold up to lick and taste it.

Step 8: FREEZE

If you have a deep freezer, cover the moulds and freeze it for at least 12-14 hours.
Insert craft sticks when the kulfi is partially frozen.

Step 9: FREE KULFI FROM MOULDS

You can dip the moulds in a bowl of warm water, this should loosen the kulfi enough for you to remove it from the mould.

Step 10: ENJOY THE DELICIOUS DESSERT

Transfer the kulfi into a plate and lick and taste it with family members on summer days.

Step 11: OTHER FLAVOUR KULFI’S

Here I prepared only plain kulfi, you can also prepare flavoured kulfi like strawberry, chocolate, saffron and vanilla.
Add the flavour with boiled milk and freeze it, that's all, flavour kulfi is ready.
