Introduction: Katar Prop

This is my second instructable and today, I will show you how to make a prop of a  Katar- the Indian push dagger.
 Materials:
metal hanger
cardboard
hotglue
pvp pipe or something similar
saw
foam
snips or scissors
exacto knife
marker
Let's get started.

Step 1: The Frame

Take your metal hanger and bend it into shape(pic1) Take your snips or scissors and cut out the bent piece(pic2).

Step 2: The Blade

Take your marker and draw that basic shape of your hanger. If any sides are bent, draw them as straight lines. Do this twice. Then, cut them out.

Step 3: The Handle

Take your pipe and make marks slightly further apart than your pinky to your thumb. Then, cut it out with the saw. If you are a child, have an adult do this step for you. I don't want anyone cutting their hand off.

Step 4: The Rest

Take your foam and draw a shape that looks like a lower case n. Draw staight lines, no diagonols. Use  the same tecnique as my gun tutorial- cardboard, then foam, then cardboard. Cut out with the exacto knife.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

Now that we are done that, take all your things, and hotglue them together. The pipe you cut out should fit in between the sides of the n.  Finnaly, the blade goes from cardboard-hanger-cardboard. Then, glue the blade to the handle. You are now done your Katar. I hope you enjoyed this and I want to see your creations in the comments below.
Optional:
Paint it.
Wrap duct tape arond the handle for a grip
Experiment! You could make a three pronged Katar!
