I just took the back off my keyboard, cut a hole big enough for the 30 pin adapter, fed the iPod wire to the middle, and screwed the back on again.
You may want to use a USB extender for the iPod cable if you have a pc under your desk, as it is quite short.
Also wait around half an hour for the super glue to dry.
