Introduction: K'nex - 1963 Dragunov SVD Review
Hey guys and welcome to another of my reviews. Today we are looking at the Dragnuov SVD used by many Eastern European and Asian countries in wars such as the Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraq and also Afghanistan. It is a semi-automatic sniper that was in a competition in the 1950's between two other competing designs from Serge Simonov and Aleksandr Konstantinov but of course being the eventually winner was indeed Yevgeny.

Anyway let's talk about the Dragunov SVD, it's not my own design since I did follow the instructions from the very popular Instructables member The Red Book Of Westmarch and I have successfully followed each picture and I have made a few changes to this incredible K'nex model of an Dragunov SVD.
The only changes I made to the Dragunov was that I used the same barrel structure that I used in my M14 to make a new barrel at the front as I didn't like how TRBOW Dragnuov SVD barrel went off at a bit of angle and it was very flimsy so I tried to improve it which took several attempts, although I will be honest that I was going to throw the whole thing away just because of the original barrel but I had another attempt at it and was it was very successful.
Good Points
· Great Scope
· Good Iron Sights
·Very Realistic
· Comfortable Hand Grip
Bad Points
· The Whole Gun Is Flimsy
· Uses Quite A Lot Of Cut Pieces
· Doesn't Shoot Because It's Just A Model
. No Removable Magazine
Specifications For A Real Dragunov SVD
· Designed - Between 1958 and 1963
· Number Built - Unknown
· Ammo - 7.62×54mmR
· Rate Of Fire - 30 Rounds Per Minute
· Powered - Gas-Operated and Rotating Bolt
· Magazine - 10 Round Box Magazine
. Range - Between 875 and 1425 Yards
Overall I 'am very pleased with it, despite it being quite heavy and having loads of cut pieces, it's a very strong model and well detailed. The Red Book Of Westmarchhas made a very good one for Instructables, my second pick would be Seleziona which I have also built and that was also a very good replica.
In Call Of Duty: Zombies, the Dragunov is available in all Black Ops maps where it is only available from the Mystery Box for 950 points. It has a one shoot kill up to round 5. When it is Pack-A-Punched for 5000 points it becomes the "D115 Disassembler" where you get more damage, ammo and a variable scope which increase magnification when looking down the scope. It has a one shoot kill up to round 22 and then a 2 shoot kill up to round 30 and also it good for getting headshots up to round 34. The reload time takes 3 to 4 seconds so Speed Cola is needed, Deadshot Daiquiri is also very useful as it reduces recoil and idle sway when aiming down the scope and Double Tap will increase the rate of fire.

The dragunov is such and amazing looking gun. Thanks for the parts lists, because around three months ago I wanted to build this, and what do you know? I looked here and saw I did not have enough parts. I'm glad I didn't waste time on a gun I couldn't finish.

Well actually Corgi, Red's Dragunov had less parts than this one since I had made quite a lot of changes to it such as changing the barrel as I didn't like the one Red had made for his K'nex Dragunov.

Well, I am stuck on a collab with JonnyBGood, so it will go on for a week or two...
But, I have gotten my pieces so I'll see if I have enough pieces to spare fot them.
But, before that, I have to complete my pistol for Red's huge pistol project.
So, I will make it by the end of the month for sure!
=D

That's ok, do you buy your K'nex pieces from the K'nex user group because that's how I build that 6ft ferris wheel and my mystery box from Call Of Duty: Zombies.

Yup, I get em from Knex User Group. It's quite cheap and ships faster too!
