Introduction: Knex Ball Machine: Revolution, Elements
Hi!
Here are the instructions for the 5 new elements from my knex ball machine Revolution.
Not as many as usually, but the reason is that Revolution isn't as big as some of my previous machines.
If you have any questions, you can always post a comment or PM me.
Thanks for watching / building!

Step 1: Side Exit Arm
An arm where the ball exits to the side.
Step 2: Lift Arm
A cool element where the ball gets lifted up a bit after the arm is pushed down. This element works better when the arm is slightly tilted to the left, as seen in the last picture of this step. Make sure the ball enters slowly, or it won't work.
Step 3: Zig Zag Drop
This started as a lift idea but ended up as an element :D
Step 4: Clicking Path
Nice alternative path.
Step 5: Double Cross Tie Path
The parts under the path may seem pointless, but without them the ball gets stuck between the edges of the cross ties. And of course we don't want that to happen.

Hi Sandro! It's James. I am building a ball machine called the next generation. the reason why I am calling it this is because there will be a lot of big arm elements that I will shortly build. And since I have school break until Monday I could finish this I'll post to you in a few weeks or a few days so I can let you know when I finished it. Hope you like it. BTW like your ball factory, it looks good :)!

Just realised the new path I made for my new ball machine is basically the same as one on here xD

Love these elements. You always bring new things to the world of knex. I'll be sure to use some in my ball machine. (Like the clicking path.)

Want a picture to add to add to a step or something like that?

Yes would be nice!

Here's the picture you wanted of the clicking path! I'll also give you a video so you can see what the clicking path does in my ball machine, that is, if the video will EVER FINISH UPLOADING! :0

Wow that thing is pretty big! How much knex do you have?

I'm actually not sure how much I have. I have quite a few pieces, but not nearly as much as Sandroknexmaster does. ;)

Yay! Finally got it to upload. This is just to show you what the path is and how I used the clicking path. It works very well! (The path, that is.) Sorry about the background noise; I have to build this in my basement and I think the water heater was running when I filmed this.

Hm... This the video only plays when you're using a computer. Also, do you know if the element at the end is new? I'm pretty sure it is, but I thought that you might know.

Looks good so far! And do you mean the element with 2 diagonal and 1 horizontal path? I think that's something new ;)

Thanks! It's nice to know that that's a new element. I actually made it because my other new element didn't work. I can't work on the ball machine for a week, or publish my new instructable for another week. Oh well.

Ah that's too bad. Will it be finished for the contest?

It's not bad at all, cause I'm on vacation! My guess for the contest is no, unless I really work on it because I still have 5paths to do. But I do have another entry that I'll post when I get back!

Yay vacation! You're coming to Belgium? :p
