Introduction: K'nex Compact Bullpup Wheel Launcher
I'll probably think of an official name later. But here is the gun I showed off in my most recent forum topic. If you haven't seen it, I'd advise you check it out. I basically said this gun is a superior wheel launcher to the few that I've seen in the past. The point of me making this gun was to not really bring back this concept but to see if I personally could do it better. I believe I did.
The gun itself is based off Zak's turret bow. I explain this in the video. In fact, I explain mostly everything in the video, so I'll just throw in some pro's and con's. Enjoy the sexy outside pictures!
Pro:
Compact (Bullpup)
Sturdy design
Straight pull-back trigger
The trigger is very strong, I worked pretty hard on this one
Looks good, IMO
Comfy
Decent sights?
Cons
Wheels can be difficult to load
Wheels can not shoot like a Frisbee (which is the point of shooting wheels)

You ought to post instructions for this.

No need. The only really complicated part is the trigger, which I provided internals for.

Oh, I didn't see the last couple pictures. Still, instructions would be nice, but if it's too much trouble, don't worry about it.

This looks awesome! I MIGHT build it one of these days, but I haven't had tons of good experience with wheel shooters in the past.

Haha yes, they can be challenging, however this one functions well. Thanks.

Awesome stuff! I never had much luck with the ZakBow a few years back. Love this, I had always pondered whether a decent wheel bow would work well. About the "Frisbee" effect, you could put a rubber tire protruding just slighty (<1mm) into the muzzle on one side. The difference in friction on one side could cause a slight spin, without impending the range much.

Interesting. That would be quite effective.

I really like what you've done with Zak's design! It's very interesting and cool! Love the modifications made to the turret bow. Good work man! ;)

Great build. I like the gun in the rock pictures and the cement ones too. I think the grass is a bit harder to see the guns. Have you thought of it like up a tree or like nested in the branches?

I have, but just didn't do it for whatever reason.

What do you think of the outdoor pictures and the gun? I'd love to hear your feedback.
