Heres my crossbow i made, its my first one and i made it the best i could but i kept it as basic as possible. Please rate, comment, and ask questions :D
On the last 2 pics the bullet went right through the box which was "hard" cardboard

I know right! Jeez, people can't think for themselves. The ratchet could be much better... also with the ammo use a red rod instead of white.

Several variations on that already exist. You've go the ratchet too low, so the trigger locks at a weird angle.
