Introduction: /::Knex G-10 Pistol::\

Hello, Today we'll be making my G-10.
It's a pretty simple build, And is a good little gun for people new to Knex.

Pros:
Uses a small amount of common Knex peices-
Fairly surdy-
Has a trigger-
Shoots a few different types of rods-
You can change your gun's power by moving the small rod left or right.
Though if you push it to far up, The band will break.

Cons:
It has a "block" trigger, meaning you must push it to the left in order to fire (well, Allot of people call it
a con, But I actually kind of like it XD )-

If you point this gun down, the projectile will fall out -

Not very powerful unless you put more rubber bands on which causes stress on the gun, (though it can get a decent range with a small green or black rod)-

Step 1: Part Count!

On this page lies all the parts you need to build the G-10.
:D

Connectors:
4 orange connectors (2 sided)
2 white circular connectors ( 8 sided)
2 light gray connectors ( 2 sided)
1 dark gray or red connector ( 3 sided)
15 dark gray or red connectors (3 sided)

Rods:
3 tiny green or black rods
2 small white rods
2 medium sized dark blue rods
2 long red rods

Step 2: Building the Handle!

(I'll tell you what you need on each step)

You'll need 2 light gray connectors, 1 dark gray connector, 1 small blue rod, 2 tiny green rods,
2 small white rods and 1 white connector.

Build from the picture below,
There will be pressure on the right white rod attached to the blue rod because it's slightly bent.
Don't mind this, It's fine.


Step 3: Building the Barrel and Mechanism!

You'll need 15 red connectors, 2 orange connectors, one yellow connector and one small green or
black rod.

Build from the picture below.

Step 4: Attaching the Barrel to the Handle!

You'll need the barrel and the handle. (obviously)

Make sure you do not attach the barrel backwards, If you do the gun won't work.

!The example below has the firing pin and rubber band already on,
we wont do that till the next step)


Step 5: Let's Make the Firing Pin!

You'll need 1 red rod and an orange connector.

Build,  ( quite easy XD )

Step 6: Putting on the Rubber Band!

You'll need a rubber band and the G-10 !

Put your cursor over the yellow out-lined boxes on the picture to learn how to equip the band!



Step 7: How to Shoot!

When I made my first Knex gun from Instructables I didn't actually know how to shoot it.
So I'll show you.

1. Pull the back of the firing pin till you here the click of the trigger

2. Put in the ammunition, It could be anything that fits in the barrel! I once put a nerf dart on a rod and
shot it!

3. Push the trigger to the left

Problems:
Sometimes when there's nothing in the barrel and you shoot, it the firing pin breaks and shoots itself!
So, never say there's nothing in the gun you might just shoot someone. (It rhymes! XD )
