Intro: Knex Gun Gallery

Well I have no intentions of creating an instructable about these guns...i just thought i would share what ive made and see what u ppl think of em :P

Each step includes pros and cons of guns.

BTW if any1 knows where to find old-school knex boxes, like the ones that come with only large peices lemme know, cause all i can find these days are micro part/normal boxes.

So funny when i look back at these...nowadays the guns im producing are top-notch :P I actually made a famas that LOOKS like a famas with the mag actually working and not used as a fake.

nvm... turns out they're useless for making guns at all...

Some of the kits come with full size - micro converters, which serve as deadly darts. they are a little longer than white rods and are fluorescent green. Some of the kits also come with bricks, which are useful for testing a gun's strength. for example, my bolt action shotgun (youtube) has a strength of about 60%. A standard brick for building these would be a 2*4. 5 rows and five columns. how many were destroyed divided how many in total standing would get your average. I shot at about 10 feet. Hope I helped revolutionize k'nex strength tests...

true... those pieces DO make great darts... but the regular rods are useless because they don't come in the same proportions as the larger ones and the blocks just violate all that knex stands for.

I use a green dart + purple 3-d connector flipped upside-down to make a very accurate dart. if only they came in bigger sizes. :( I would own in knex wars.

try using my gun: it fires anything that fits in the barrel.

you can get 'em in mini knex kits i did i got about 200 mini pieces and around 7000-8000 pieces of knex now lol
