Introduction: K'nex Motor (Touch Mode)
Ever felt bored while repeatedly turning on/off the motor? Ever got fed up with pushing the tiny switch? Ever wanted to make a project involving turning a motor on/off that was reliable? Simple. Modify your motor!
Note: No actual modifications have been made to the mechanism of the motor. Repetitive presses should be avoided. Cheese is awesome.
Ready? Let's start!
Step 1: Parts List
Not much, just a motor and a standard (-) screwdriver.
Step 2: Touch-Sensitising
Simply loosen the screw that holds thee batteries in, until the motor can be started by applying pressure to the cover, but ceases motion after releasing it.
Be sure to flick the switch in the direction you want.
Step 3: Done!
That's all! While this isn't really hard to do, I made an Instructable since I hadn't seen it anywhere else. If anyone uses it, please send me a picture!
Also, keep an eye out for my upcoming ball machine, Helios.
