Knex Parallel Arm Lift
Intro: Knex Parallel Arm Lift
Here is my newest lift: the Parallel arm lift!
Most credits go to Shadowman, as he invented this lift first in his unfinished ball machine, I tried to rebuild it from the vid (only managed to rebuild the front part of the arm and some basic ideas).
So, this instruction is very complicated and nothing for absolutely beginners.
And it is also loooooooooong.
Be sure that all 3D connectors are turned correctly, with some you also have to pay attention that they aren't turned 180°, I'll note which in the image notes, so be sure to read them!
Sorry for any fails I made, making instructions was quite complicated.
And feel free to ask if you have any problems!
I use a plug-in motor, and I would recommend also using one as they have more power than the battery motors. Maybe you could use two battery motors...

Oh, and the first one to make a piece count will earn a patch :D (But please be honest about it)

Sorry for all mistakes I made, making the instruction was REALLY complicated. I also had many problems with uploading so many files at the same time to ibles, and then ibles also didn't sort the files correctly in my image library....
Well, but here it is!
If you add a picture below of your model I'll ad it to this step!

Troubleshooting:
My arms go as choppy down as in the beginning of the vid! - Make sure that all the string is correctly on the wheels, that was also my problems with the first clip and I was to lazy to re-film :P
The balls won't enter the lift as the gate won't go up! - be sure that that thingy in the back of the gate is in the correct position.
The balls fall back down when going to the next arm! - The 'trapdoors' have to be swiped over the hole.
My model doesn't look somewhat correct! - Make sure that every rod is attached correctly.
My model looks very crashed! - Next time don't through it out of the top window of a three story building!

This is a very good lift: high, good looks, works good,...
So... I've built it!
I know you didn't invent it, it was Shadowman.
But congrats for rebuilding it from the vid and making good instructions.
I'll use it in my next ball machine, where I'm currently working on.
Here are some photo's, if you want you can add them to the last step of this instructable.
